It is a fleece material knitted using a traditional loopwheel knitting machine.
This knitting method is done very slowly, without putting strain on the yarn and allowing air to enter, resulting in a soft, fluffy fabric.
Loopwheel knitting machines are rare machines that are rarely produced these days, and in Japan, the technique has been passed down in Wakayama Prefecture. Loopwheel fleece is highly moisturizing and feels good against the skin, so it is often used for high-quality sweatshirts and hoodies. The more you wear it, the more it becomes comfortable, making it a suitable material for items that you can love for a long time.
Although it is a very good material, it can only be produced at a rate of one meter per hour, making it extremely inefficient.So, by incorporating stretch yarn, which is said to be impossible to produce with regular hanger fleece, while still retaining the texture of hanger fleece, we have developed a hybrid fabric that has both the texture of hanger fleece and stretch.
This time, I wanted to make sure to preserve the texture of the material, so I made the hoodie as simple as possible.
Once you see it in person, you'll be convinced, and it's a design that you can wear for a long time.

Jun Hashimoto, a Japanese staff member of the Italian brand "C DIEM (CARPE DIEM)", returned to Japan and launched the domestic brand wjk・junhashimoto before joining the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brand CARPE DIEM .
Utilizing this experience, the new line offers the solid and simple "CARPE DIEM."
